5to50 installed a six-metre bank of bi-fold doors and built a large deck that completely transformed the way this family used their home. Not only did the new doors flood the casual living area with light, they also created an all-in-one entertaining area that blended the indoors with the outdoors.
The previously bland backyard was also transformed by 5to50 with extensive landscaping that used retaining walls to make the most of the block that sloped down to the rear by creating several platforms at different levels. Planting in the new backyard was supervised by a horticulturist who selected plants suitable for the beachside location.
